The PSTA also provides a complete set of services to private protective services companies including facility rental, certification services, training, and staffing. Government and law enforcement agencies also regularly train their staffs at the PSTA.

This course provides 40 hours of training, in preparation for the FPS ICE qualification course of fire, for new hire Protective Service Officers (PSO's).

This course provides 64 hours of classroom-based training for the FPS Security Manual and Resource Tool Book, as required by the Federal Protective Services, for individuals who plan to work as Protective Service Officers (PSO's) on federal government contracts.

This course provides 4 hours of classroom training and 4 hours of live-fire training, in preparation for the FPS ICE qualification course of fire. Students receive ammunition, a handgun, ICE targets and range time.

This the actual FPS/ICE qualification of fire for Protective Service Officers (PSO's).  Shooters fire a total of 50 rounds on the ICE-QT target.  The qualification is monitored by FPS Inspectors, and shooters are afforded two (2) attempts to qualify.

Every three years, PSOs are required to receive 40-hours of Basic Security Officer "refresher" training.   This training is primarily based on training received during their initial 64-hour or 80-hour Security Guard Information Manual (SGIM) certification course.

This course provides training to individuals who have been selected to become a PSO Supervisor.  Qualified supervisory candidates must not only possess the company's core values, but the skills and knowledge that will make them an effective leader.
